I'm here to share my story. To maybe be a voice for someone who feels they don't have one.

I sat in a chair, in an emergency room, watching my daughter, my life..struggle through the agony of an attempted suicide. Wishing there was anything I could do to take her pain away...anything... I put my faith and trust into the doctors who were trained to take care of my baby.

The words from the same doctors who were there to help her, are the words that forever shape how I feel about the mental health problems we face day to day.

The saviors who are trained to help...to put everything aside and expend all necessary and available resources to help...I hear "we are done wasting time, send her upstairs if she can't learn her lesson"

My vision with the mental health matters logo, was nothing more than to get people to recognize it, and know it means safety...love...kindness...just to make the world a bit kinder.

The apparel will be used to help get that vision and word out, but also, hopefully, help people find a way to get help.
